NetOptics, a global fiber optics components manufacturer and supplier,
is a recognized leader in network security and reliability. NetOptics
offers a full range of custom fiber optics products and services including
splitter taps, redundancy switches, test and simulation products, converters,
and fiber optics cable assemblies.
All NetOptics products are 100% tested prior to delivery and include
ongoing technical support.
- Network
Taps: NetOptics Taps provide permanent passive monitoring access
ports for 100% visibility into your network's critical links with
the leading security and network management tools. These passive devices
enable full-duplex monitoring without data stream interference or
introducing a point of failure.
The
Teeny Tap - introducing the world's smallest network Tap - a highly
portable solution, measures a mere 3" x 2"
- GigaBit
Network Taps - passive devices requiring no power supply, and
features passive link integrity to ensure continuous flow of network
traffic at all times, irrespective of the status of any attached monitoring
device. All Fibre Taps incorporate 1x2-style splitters to split light
from one to two fibres with minimal loss. The Gigabit Fibre Taps allow
monitoring of full-duplex traffic in Singlemode or Multimode variants.
- Regeneration
Taps: NetOptics Regeneration Taps provide permanent passive monitoring
access ports for 100% visibility into your network's critical links
with multiple devices. Compatible with all leading security and network
management tools, Regeneration Taps support simultaneous passive deployment
of intrusion detection and prevention systems, protocol analyzers,
RMON probes, and other key devices. Each monitoring device connected
to the Regeneration Tap sees the same traffic at the same time, providing
a complete picture of link health for troubleshooting and analysis.
- Aggregation
Taps: Net Optics’ innovative 10/100 Port Aggregator Taps
offer all the benefits of the passive 10/100 Network Taps, plus they
enable full-duplex monitoring with a single network interface card
(NIC). Existing Network Taps enable full-duplex monitoring of all
traffic on a link, but transmit this traffic to the monitoring device
in two half-duplex streams, requiring specialized hardware to monitor
both sides of the conversation. Net Optics Port Aggregator Taps seamlessly
combine these two streams using first-in, first-out technology, enabling
full-duplex monitoring with one NIC.
- Matrix
Switches: NetOptics’ SpyderSwitch family of Matrix Switches
provides permanent passive monitoring access ports for 100% visibility
across multiple links with the leading distributed management and
security devices. In-line and Span Port versions allow a single distributed
device to view all traffic on any connected link or network switch
span port, extending the reach of these critical tools. With the new
PortRover software, network managers have multiple options to view
this traffic, including the ability to program and save custom monitoring
patterns.

Security Solutions: NetOptics Security Solutions offer enhanced
passive monitoring access features designed specifically to support
intrusion detection and prevention systems. Our latest Security release,
the 10/100 Port Aggregator Tap, offers all the benefits of Net Optics’
original 10/100 Taps, plus support for full-duplex monitoring with
a single NIC. New Active Response 10/100 Regeneration Taps offers
all the benefits of Net Optics’ original Regeneration Taps,
plus the opportunity to transmit responses to network events. This
product family also includes innovative Network Taps for 10/100BaseT,
GigaBit SX, and GigaBit TX, the three most common monitoring interfaces
for intrusion detection and prevention.
- Connectivity:
NetOptics Connectvity products are designed to complement our core
Network Taps, Regeneration Taps, and Switches for easy deployment.
These solutions include media converters for all major network topologies,
redundancy products for high availability scenarios, test equipment
to simulate any fiber link, and a wide array of premium multimode,
singlemode, and CAT5E cables to suit every network
