ARGUS 26 - PRI / BRI & Analogue Installation tester / simulator

Overview

The ARGUS26 is the premium tester for PRI, BRI, and POTS accesses as well as for permanent circuits.
The hand held unit is compact and easy to use with intuitive menus, cursor keys and soft keys.

On a PRI or BRI circuit, it supports TE/NT simulation & monitoring and can save the data in its 16 MB of internal memory and decode it.
Just plug in the Argus 26 to automatically detect the ISDN line configuration and protocol including point to point / point to multipoint, ISDN services available and any active call diversion
Additionally, this tester offers an E1 bit error rate test (MegaBERT).
Test reports can be easily generated using the WINplus software included.
Bit Error Rate tests may be run during a call with adjustable good / bad threshold and injection of errors if required. All results are displayed on the back lit LCD in clear text.
The Argus 26 has optional U-interface and X.21 access.

BERT & MegaBERT...
The Argus 26 allows a standard bit error rate test (BERT) to be performed using one or two timeslots (concurrently) on a framed G.704 line. However, a new optional MegaBERT feature allows the user to test the full bandwidth by running a BERT using all 32 timeslots on an unframed G.703 line (2048kbps), or timeslots 1-31 on a framed G.704 line (1984kbps).

WINplus...
WINplus is included with each Argus 26 and enables the user to generate access acceptance reports which document the work performed and the faults that occurred.

WINanalyse...
WINanalyse is an optional software package for the Argus 26 which provides comprehensive ISDN D Channel protocol analysis including ASN1 content. The simple Windows user interface aids identification of hidden protocol errors making it a useful tool when installing or servicing an ISDN access.
